Global Assessment of the Fifth Environmental Action Programme
Following a call for contributions on 13.10.98 by James Currie, Director-General DG XI, to the Global Assessment of the Fifth Environmental Action Programme five European Environmental Advisory Councils contributed to this assessment:
- MiNa-Raad (Environmental and Nature Council of Flanders)
- German Council for Land Stewardship (DRL)
- German Council of Environmental Advisors (SRU)
- The Netherlands Council for the Rural Area (RLG)
- English Nature
An EEAC drafting group, chaired by Jan Verheeke (MiNa-Raad) evaluated the contributions and worked out a synthesis paper, which was submitted to the European Commission DG XI.
