Type of Advice
The board has the corporate responsibility for ensuring that Natural England fulfils the aims and objectives set by the UK Government’s Secretary of State for the Environment. The main roles of the Board are to establish Natural England’s strategy, approve policy direction and review the performance of the organisation. The agency regularly produce Policy Position Statements. They outline NE's policies in key areas and describe what NE wants to see happen. They are based on our full policies which have been approved by the Board.
